I've been planning this trip all my life. I'll go it alone except for visits with my high school buddies along the coast who want to join me for a meal or a guided tour of their favorite local places. I'm looking for the beauty in nature and architecture; the hidden places that few know.
I'll drive the PCH from San Diego to Seattle and will return on I-5 south, then east to Yosemite, onward to Flagstaff before returning to the valley. My schedule will be flexible and I'll adjust as I go, stopping when I want to explore.
I'm taking my cameras to capture everything and my laptop for writing. I've had incredible life lessons this past year, let's see what some alone time on the edge of this beautiful country will provide. It could be a book in the making.
